Hi, I’m Jess!

By day, I wear a few different hats: photographer, virtual assistant, and toddler mama, plus I'm lucky enough to have an amazing bonus stepdaughter. Life is wonderfully full, and I love getting properly stuck into the joyful chaos of family life (and we’re currently trying to convince ourselves to add a dog to the mix!).

I’ve always loved finding the sweet spot between creativity and order. Whether I’m behind the lens capturing life and business as it unfolds, organising behind-the-scenes whirlwinds for my clients, cooking up a storm (I’m a biiiig foodie!), or heading out into the hills, I bring real heart and soul to everything I do.

Where my intro into business life began

I started my first business in 2015, as a Photographer. I didn’t have everything figured out, and I certainly didn’t have a roadmap to follow. I learned by doing, figuring things out and diving into my business head first, as I know you probably have done too.

I very quickly realised how much goes into running the behind the scenes of any business and wow, I did not expect so much time to disappear in front of my eyes!

My business taught me far more than I ever expected, it gave me a real understanding of what it feels like to wear every single possible business hat, the excitement of business growth and the pressure that comes with trying to do it all yourself. That was when I started to understand what being a business owner actually was, my love for it and that is how this exact business idea became a reality. Established in 2019 was JLC now rebranded into Noted & Done. I definitely haven’t looked back since.
